Powerhouse exhibition displays Cook Islands artwork
At the new Powerhouse Museum Love Lace exhibition you will find one of Andrea Eimke’s unique works, created on the small island of Atiu, her home for the past 28 years. Since settling in the Cook Islands, Eimke has founded the Atiu Fibre Arts Studio where she teaches tourists how to make tivaivai, a traditional Cook Islands craft. She has exhibited her works around the world and you can see her stunning lace work at the Powerhouse Museum until April 2012.
