Hilton Queenstown
Two new Hilton Hotels will open in New Zealand’s year-round resort town of Queenstown in mid-May, the Hilton Queenstown and Kawarau Hotel, managed by Hilton. The newly built properties both have north-facing waterfront locations on Lake Wakatipu within a new accommodation and entertainment precinct called Kawarau Village, close to the airport and 10km from both The Remarkables Ski Area and the town centre. The development comprises the 5-star Hilton Queenstown, with 178 rooms, and the 4-star Kawarau Hotel, with 98 rooms as well as the Kawarau Village dining and retail outlets including Stacks Pub and the Lake Counter gourmet deli. Each stunningly designed hotel offers gorgeous views of spectacular mountain ranges or across Lake Wakatipu.
