Who we are

Philip Engelberts
Born and bred in the Netherlands, Philip has spent more than 15 years as a leading practitioner of Public Relations and Corporate Marketing in Australia. Philip established PEPR Publicity in 2003, with a desire to deliver outstanding media coverage results for his valued clients. Every event and campaign created by PEPR Publicity is executed with the flair and innate style Philip has become known for. With a fine eye for detail and genuine joie de vivre, Philip has expanded PEPR Publicity to include other dynamic professional PRs with specific varied strengths. In 2000, 2003 and 2006 Philip was awarded the “Communicator of the Year” Award of the Australian Society of Travel Writers (ASTW), a great honour as 150 Australia-wide journalists chose him thrice as the best Public Relations Practitioner in his field.

Sophie Landa
Now a consultant to PEPR, after merging her company Landa Communications with PEPR Publicity, Sophie Landa has an impressive resume – ACP Publications, The Harry M Miller Group, Channel 9 Sydney, Optus Vision, Home Box Office in New York. Sophie has worked in both media production and public relations which gives her extensive knowledge of the media industry and how it operates. When instigating a public relations campaign she has the knowledge to implement each step of the campaign with authority and to achieve the desired results. Her contacts in the media are second to none. She represents ARIA Restaurant and chef Matt Moran.

Natasha Granath
Natasha is an account manager at PEPR with a long career in journalism.
For more than 8 years she worked at The West Australian specialising in fashion, travel and lifestyle features. She has a real passion for real estate and property writing, having filled the role of The West’s deputy property editor for more than two years. She has contributed to a number of magazines and newspapers including The Age, Sydney Morning Herald, Sun Herald and Australian Property Investor. She studied journalism at Murdoch University and international communications at Uppsala University, Sweden, and started her career writing for a magazine in Paris before moving back to Australia.

Gaynor Stanley
Gaynor Stanley is an account manager at PEPR and has 20 years’ experience in Public Relations. She is a trained journalist and a communications specialist with post-graduate marketing qualifications. She began working on a consultancy basis in July 1999, following five years as the in-house public relations manager for the New Zealand Tourism Board in Australia. Clients that she has worked for include Raffles International Hotels & Resorts, Furama Hotels Sydney and the Australian National Maritime Museum.

Lisa Milne
Lisa is an account manager at PEPR with an impressive tenure in marketing communications. For the last seven years, Lisa has held senior marketing and communications roles with some of the most high profile property developers in Australia. Prior to that, she worked in fashion and lifestyle PR while studying journalism at the University of Technology, Sydney.  Lisa is currently finishing her Masters of Business in Marketing.

Catherine Blake
For over a year Catherine has assisted with a variety of travel and lifestyle clients within the PEPR stable. Being from the north coast of NSW, she moved to Sydney 5 years ago where she obtained a degree in Media and Public Relations. At PEPR she has worked on the Great Southern Rail and Thai Government accounts. She has launched the PEPR Blog and manages social media strategies for a range of PEPR clients.
